Remington Rand 1911A1 in .45 ACP. These World War Two Era Remington Rand Model M1911-A1's are highly desirable and collectible. Remington Rand pistols are known to be highly reliable and very accurate.
Description: Standard configuration Remington Rand M1911A1 with ramp front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of frame with usual two line Remington Rand address; 'P' in front of rear sight. Left frame with 'FJA' inspector initials. Right side of frame marked 'UNITED STATES PROPERTY', 'M1911A1 U.S.ARMY'.
Condition: Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) rebuild with minimal wear as one might expect from a minimally carried service pistol. New issue magazine. Near mirror bore. A wonderful Remington Rand 1911A1, well suited to any Military collection.
